Peter Gyorgyicsek

Originally from Hungary, Peter played a critical role in the formation of the club from our earliest days playing with a ball at the edge of Northcote Pool. 

As our first coach in 2018, and head coach from 2019-2024, Peter has left a lasting legacy on the culture of the Krakens. He personally recruited many of our first members, several of whom still play for the club.  

His enthusiasm for the sport continues to inspire us all and at the 2024 AGM we announced that Peter is the club's first life member. 

We look forward to Peter's continued involvement in the Krakens as specialist performance coach.
