NYP WPC is hosting Round 3 of the Community Water Polo Invitational Friendly Series
The Community Water Polo Invitational Friendly Series is a fun and inclusive autumn competition that brings together junior players fromsix local clubs: Northcote, Essendon, NYP, DVE, Footscray, and Monash at 4 locations.
This is a great event to showcase water polo and invite along family and friends to see the action.
About the Event:
Mixed teams will be created from players across all clubs, based on coaching assessments that considerexperience, age, and ability.
Players from the same club and grade will be grouped togetherwhere possible.
The goal is to ensureevery player gets game time, is challenged appropriately, and learns from the experience.
Indicative Grades for Round 3:
Flippaball (ages 3-8) for our Krackles - learn to swim pool
Beginner (ages 8–13):Up to 1 year of experience, must swim 50m
Intermediate Boys and Girls (ages 13–15):1–3 years of experience
Advanced Boys for Round 3 June 15 will include senior players from NYP to help make up numbers. If there are not enough registrations and the grade is cancelled fes will be refiunded.
What to Expect:
Indoor pool to stay warm!
Free sauasage sizzle!
Every team will playat least two gamesduring the afternoon.
Two fields of play over 3 and half hours, guaranteeing good game time.
Games will be refereed usingstandard water polo rules, unless advised otherwise.
Geelong WPC members will also be invited to join teams.
Flippball for the Krackles kids will run in the learn to swim pool which is 900-1000mm deep, 4:20-5:10 training and skills for all (parent helpers to be in the water as required for the smaller kids group) and then independent kids in games 5:10 - 6:30.
